$44,000 to Telethon - Thank You for your Support

West Perth outlet shopping mecca Harbour Town raised $44,000 for charity on Sunday October 16, playing host to “Trade for Telethon”.
The community celebration gave visitors to the complex the chance to meet Channel 7 celebrities including Luke Jacobs, Hugh Sheridan and Esther Anderson.
The crowd was also wowed by performances from “Australia’s Got Talent” winners singer Mark Vincent, dance troupe Justice Crew and “Australia’s answer to Justin Bieber” Jack Vidgen, hosted by 92.9’s “Hot Ross”.
Fans were delighted to meet the performers who entertained visitors with songs from their new albums and signed autographs.
Fat Cat made an appearance much to the excitement of young children at the complex which made for an exciting finish to the school holiday period.
Shoppers supported Telethon by making donations during the event, and Harbour Town was proud to hand over a cheque for a total of $44,000.
Harbour Town Marketing Manager Helen Smith said the warm weather and generous donors made for a successful event.
“The celebrities provided outstanding entertainment and brought a great vibe that was felt throughout the complex for shoppers and fans alike,” Ms Smith said.
“Their generosity and support of Telethon at Harbour Town enabled us to make such a contribution to the charity, which we know will be put towards some great causes.”
