Perth's First Kate Hill Store Arrives

Perth has welcomed its first stand alone Kate Hill boutique with the Melbourne-based accessories brand recently opening at West Perth outlet mecca Harbour Town.

It’s the first time the brand – which features a distinctive collection of handbags, jewellery, wallets, accessories and luggage that embody affordable luxury – has established a boutique outside of the east coast of Australia.
“We focus on subtlety in our detailing and finishes; it's fashion with a twist and we’re thrilled to be bringing it to Harbour Town,” said Kate Hill marketing manager Kelly Austin.

“Our dream was to create stylish fashion accessories for women that were not only chic and glamorous, but also functional and affordable.
“The creativity has been inspired by our global travels, international trends and our own passion and flair for all things fashion. The collection offers pieces that will complement or update your wardrobe instantly.”
Harbour Town marketing manager Helen Smith said Kate Hill was a welcome addition to the outdoor shopping precinct.
“The Kate Hill boutique, with its stylish feel that’s a little bit girly while at the same time glamorous, adds to Harbour Town’s draw as a key fashion destination along with Simone Perele, Cue, Ojay and Portmans amongst others,” she said.

Gamer's Dream Released For Christmas

Gaming enthusiasts are counting down the days until the release of ‘Kinect’ – the new Xbox 360-compatible technology that retailers are tipping to be one of this Christmas’ most in-demand gifts.

Microsoft’s Kinect, which is due to be launched in November, requires no controllers but allows full body game play using camera and unique sensor technology as well as voice and facial recognition.

Samantha Heath, EB Games store manager at outlet shopping Mecca Harbour Town in West Perth, believed Kinect was going to revolutionise gaming.

“I think it will rewrite gaming history – once they see what it can do, every kid, every family will want one – it is not just for hard core gamers,” she said.

Harbour Town Helps Home Kittens

Making it easy to give to charity while taking care of your Christmas shopping, West Perth outlet mecca Harbour Town is this year teaming up with the Cat Haven in Shenton Park for its annual festive fundraiser.

In the two weeks leading up to Christmas, Harbour Town shoppers will be able to have their presents beautifully gift-wrapped in exchange for a gold coin donation.

Cat Haven is a not for profit charity that relies on public donations and fundraising initiatives like this to continue its valuable rescuing and rehoming work.

The funds raised will be put to good use helping the charity rehome thousands of kittens that infiltrate the shelter at Christmas time as the result of unsterilised cats that have bred during cat breeding season.

New TV Campaign Launched

Harbour Town - Australia’s leading outlet and specialty shopping destination – has unveiled its latest national TV advertising campaign ‘there’s no town like it’ created by Adelaide advertising and marketing company JAM.

Promoting the Harbour Town’s four centres on the Gold Coast, in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, the campaign centres on a fictional town set on a harbour, with its architecture consisting of enormous shopping bags that display retail offerings and appear as buildings to form a city skyline.

“Harbour Town is thrilled to unveil the ‘there’s no town like it’ TV campaign that will bring the latest and greatest deals from Harbour Town’s retailers to shoppers across the country,” Harbour Town National Marketing & Tourism Manager Angela Gore says.
